Trust
Trust, security, and responsible use
How davinciresolve.org treats licensing, integrity, and user responsibility for DaVinci Resolve downloads.
Legal usage policy
DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Studio are licensed by Blackmagic Design under their own terms. Use the free or Studio license that matches the features you enable. Do not redistribute cracked builds, keygens, or modified installers. This site publishes version metadata for informed downloads; it does not grant you rights beyond the vendor license.
Ethical usage statement
Use Resolve for lawful media projects. Do not use the software to produce or distribute content that violates applicable law. Respect client confidentiality, talent releases, and copyright in footage you ingest.
Source transparency
DaVinci Resolve is proprietary, not open source. Transparency on this hub means publishing:
- Exact version numbers and dates when known
- File size and SHA256 for the Windows ZIP
- Documented Free vs Studio differences
- Clear ownership: this site is independent of Blackmagic Design
No-malware clarification
We do not bundle toolbars, miners, or unrelated adware in the pages on davinciresolve.org. Always verify SHA256 after the file arrives. Antivirus false positives are discussed in guides and on the integrity section.
User responsibility disclaimer
You are responsible for validating checksums, complying with Blackmagic Design license terms, maintaining backups of project libraries, and configuring GPU drivers. davinciresolve.org provides informational pages only and is not liable for install outcomes, data loss, or license disputes.
